Receive transparent pricing, thoughtful medication-informed care, and a clear treatment plan. We are currently accepting a limited number of new private-pay patients based on fit and availability. Psychiatric care for minors is private pay only.
Mind Over Matter does not accept or bill insurance for patients under 18. Families seeking care for a child or adolescent must use the private-pay scheduling pathway and are responsible for the applicable private-pay fees shown on this page.
A parent or legal guardian must complete the required consent and financial paperwork and participate in care when clinically or legally appropriate. All minor appointments remain subject to clinical fit and provider availability.
Choose the visit type—and understand the ADHD pathway—before you schedule.
Private-pay care is not a membership or subscription. Each service is scheduled and billed clearly. The private-pay ADHD pathway requires a $450 initial psychiatric evaluation followed, when clinically appropriate, by a separate $300 ADHD-focused evaluation. Qbtech charges the patient $120 directly for QbCheck access.

What to know before booking.
This page lists new direct private-pay services. Adults age 18 and older who intend to use insurance should use the separate insurance scheduling pathway when available. Patients under 18 are accepted through private pay only and cannot use the practice’s insurance pathway.
Can I use insurance for my child or teenager?
No. Mind Over Matter does not accept or bill insurance for patients under 18. Care for children and adolescents is available only through the private-pay pathway, subject to clinical fit and availability. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the applicable private-pay fees and required consent and financial paperwork.
How does the insurance pathway differ?
The insurance pathway is available only to eligible patients age 18 and older when Mind Over Matter participates with the patient’s plan and the requested service is covered. For covered in-network professional services, patient responsibility is determined by the health plan and Explanation of Benefits, such as a copay, deductible, or coinsurance. Patients under 18 cannot use the insurance pathway and must schedule as private pay. If QbCheck is used, Qbtech currently charges $120 directly; coverage and whether a separate vendor charge is permitted may vary by plan. Contact us before scheduling so we can confirm the correct pathway.
Will I know the cost before the visit?
Yes. Private-pay rates and required service sequences are listed on this page. Before care begins, patients receive information about practice charges and any separate third-party fee. Self-pay patients may request a written Good Faith Estimate and will receive one when required by federal law. Existing private-pay patients may have legacy rates during their courtesy period; new private-pay services and new patients use the current fee schedule.
Does private pay mean I can get urgent or emergency care?
No. Private-pay care is not emergency care and does not include 24/7 crisis support. Established patients may request same-week medication-related appointments when appropriate and available.
Are medications guaranteed?
No. Medication decisions are based on clinical evaluation, safety, history, diagnosis, applicable prescribing standards, and medical appropriateness. No specific medication, stimulant, benzodiazepine, or controlled substance is guaranteed.
Do you see children, teens, and young adults?
Yes, when clinically appropriate and when openings are available. Patients under 18 are accepted only through private pay; the practice does not bill insurance for their care. Minors require parent or legal guardian involvement, appropriate consent and financial paperwork, and separate charting for each patient receiving care. Adults age 18 and older may use private pay or an available insurance pathway, depending on eligibility.
How does the private-pay ADHD evaluation pathway work, and what does it cost?
The required initial psychiatric evaluation is $450. If the ADHD evaluation proceeds, the separate ADHD-focused evaluation is $300, bringing total practice fees to $750. Qbtech currently charges $120 directly for QbCheck. The current expected combined total is $870. The ADHD-focused visit cannot be scheduled before the initial psychiatric evaluation.
Should I tell you before booking if I am considering an ADHD diagnosis?
Yes. Mention ADHD when you first contact us so we can prescreen for clinical fit, explain the required two-visit sequence and fees, and tell you which appointment to request. The initial psychiatric evaluation must be completed first.
